Dawn's Story
Life
Highlights since high school:
Married Ken Schubert in 1975, son,Andrew,was born in 1978. I worked as a dental assistant during this time in San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead. Separated when Andrew was age 2, and later divorced.
Married Mike Kohl in 1985. Moved from Lake Arrowhead to Redlands, where daughter Jenna was born in 1988. Moved to Silverton, Oregon in 1990. Daughter Erica was born in 1992. I was a "stay at home mom" and co-owner of our Christmas tree business, Northwest Christmas Trees, which is based in Oregon and operated in San Bndo at the same location (Waterman Ave. & Hospitality Lane) for 20+ years. with a degree in nursing. I currently work at our small community hospital in the family birth center as a post-partum nurse. Two of the three kids are grown, but live close by. None married, but one engaged. Our youngest is a sophmore in high school. Over the years of raising my kids, I have been an avid fan of their sports activities (basketball, football, swimming, and volleyball). I've been a volunteer swim team coach for 13 years. Also over the years, we have enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing and snowmobiling. In more recent years, we have enjoyed relaxing vacations in warmer climates like Mexico and the Caribbean. Mike and I will be married 23 years in 2008.
