Life I am living in a small historical Texas town with our classmate Michael Apt. Mike was my first crush when we were freshmen. I thought the whole world knew. Throughout the years I had often thought about "My Mikey". One day I was browsing through this site and came across his name and thought..."why not drop him a line"? I figured if he remembered me it would be as some annoying freshman girl that stalked him through the halls. He responded via e-mail the next day. We caught up on each others lives. Then he called me. I lived in Florida and he in Texas. He called me so we could chat and that we did. We communicated by phone and e-mails for a couple of months. He was planning to come visit me with another classmate that i had been very good friends with in high school as well. We three were going to have our own reunion of sorts. Needless to say that never happened for something very serious happened to me and i needed a major life change. Mike offered to come to town to help me move to Texas and stay with him while I was trying to heal. I was so unsure of what to do, I took him up on his offer. We were the best of friends for the first nine months. Two peas in a pod as his family claims. That friendship has blossomed into a very special relationship for the both of us.
