It has been a while but rejoined in preparation for our 50 year class reunion in 2024-2025. Two years ago I retired from Haverhill Public Schools, sold my beautiful 1790 home The Webster House, and moved to North Carolina to live with Diane and Dennis Delorier. My last seven years I went from being an assistant principal at Nettle Middle School to being the attendance coordinator and officer for thirteen elementary and middle schools. I loved the job and miss the kids everyday. It truly was a great way to end a 38 year career. Haverhill will always be my second home. I stopped coaching in 2010 or 11 at Northern Essex CC in Haverhill. It was too much to be managing a middle school and attempting to get to practice each afternoon. Little did I know that I would move to attendance and probably could have continued coaching. After coaching at Ossining from 1979-1983 I coached Haverhill both in the 80s and 90s. Boys were All-State champs in '98. That was a fun year. The years I taught I was also a class advisor at HHS for the Class of 2006.
