Dawn's Story
I'm on my final birthday this month. Sorry this does not mean that I plan to leave this Earth. This is the last birthday before I start counting backwards. Not really, it doesn't feel all that different.
My children are nine years apart, so I have one enterning high school this coming year and the other in Kindergarten. Crazy, huh??? We were a little surprised by the second one, but what a wonderful surprise!
My husband and I have been married now for sixteen years and very happy. He is a career firefighter and for now I am a housewife. I plan to resume working outside the home, when both kids are in school ne...Expand for more

I live about two minutes from my parents, which is wonderful. My brother, Rhett and his family live about 10 hours from me. He has three children if you can believe that! We get to visit about twice a year.
Our family life is pretty simple. We love time at home, playing board games, gardening, riding bikes and watching movies. I've become a teenage taxi driver running my oldest from sporting events, malls and movies. We all teach Sunday School, with the exception of the youngest. We currently attend a non-denominational church and it's a perfect fit!
