Dawn's Story

Well, where do I begin? After graduating high school in 1993, I moved in with friends and began the "party life". This didn't last long, as I became pregnant in 1995 with my now beautiful daughter Destani Joy. After a serious car accident (while pregnant with her), I decided to follow my parents to the wonderful state of Texas!!! I decided to begin college in 1998, (a single parent and minimum wage,was no longer cutting it for me )rather than to live off welfare. My major was Criminal Justice and my...Expand for more
minor was Law Enforcement. After 6 long years, and 3 kiddo's later, I finally graduated. I work full time for the Lamb County Sherrif's Office, and part time at a medium security prison here in the great state of TEXAS! I love my life, and my job. My kids are my PRIDE and JOY! I have 1 girl, and three AMAZING boys, who keep me very busy!!! I enjoy spending time with my family (whom all live here in TX now), as well as having a little "Me time", whenever possible. I hope to catch up to old friends!!
