Dawn's Story
Life
My life has taken me to many different states. I have lived in Kentucky, California, Arizona, Mississippi, Texas and finally ended up in Missouri. Living here is not much different from Indiana weatherwise, etc. so I feel as if I am close to home again. I visit Parke County 5-6 times a year since my little sister and mother still live there. Oddly enough, I never see anyone I used to know. I don't know if that is because we have all changed so much or because many of us have moved away.
I have been married to my husband Grant for almost ten years now...Expand for more
. We are best friends and love to go fishing, camping and just be outdoors. I have two kids, a 19 year-old daughter and a 16 year-old son both from my first marriage.
School
My best experience in High School was my Junior Achievment Conference in Nashville, Tennesee. Everything about high school was challenging especially in such a small town. I am thankful that I had JDA to get me through the roughest times. Karen frazier and Olive Daily were my favorite teachers. They were both inspiring and supportive and truly made you feel as if they cared.
