I am married to a great guy, John, that pretty much gives me anything I want (within reason lol). We have been married since 1994 but we started dating in 1988. That is 23 years. Time flies when you are having fun. He is only 2 months older than me. He went to North though. I cant believe we hadn't met before we did. We knew so many of the same people, it was funny. We have a great son, Brandon. He is 18 and goes to DMACC out in Ankeny. We only have 1 child because man is he expensive, but well worth it!
I am currently not working but taking care of the guys is like a full time job. I would like to go back to work but there is just not much...Expand for more

As for fun, I love the summer. We have a camper that we use as many weekends as we can. Mostly we go to Yellow Banks by Pleasant Hill or Webb's out by Hartford, but will go to any campground with electricity. There is nothing better than sitting by the fire, having a few drinks & just hanging out with friends. We like to go camping by the water because we have a boat that we take sometimes. I love to go fishing (night fishing is the best) and yes I can bait my own hook & even take the fish off!
As for the winter, I really like it too. We have a really big yard and 1/2 of it is woods with a couple of small trails & a creek. With the snow it is beautiful. We have tons of deer that go through daily. When the yard is full of snow I can see them very clearly in the moonlight. I am a big animal person and can watch them for what seems hours. John has a couple of trucks that go out & plow snow for extra money and that is great. So sorry, but I say bring on the SNOW!".
