Dawn's Story
Life
I live in Stillwater with my husband and 12-year-old son. My husband, Joe, is a physical therapist with Stw Med Ctr. We were married in December 1994 and his two children from his first marriage lived with us full-time from day one. Emily, the eldest, graduated in 1999 and brother Will graduated in 2001. Emily now lives in Tulsa with her daughter (my step-grandbaby...when did I get so old!),...Expand for more
and Will lives in Minnesota, pursuing a career in real estate. Emily and Will's little brother, my son Andy, is in 6th grade at the Middle School. He was diagnoses with autism spectrum disorder when he was almost 4years old. He is a BEAUTIFUL CHILD, and we never even think about him being "different" unless he is around other children his age. He laughs and loves a lot, and he brings us great joy.
