Dawn's Story

Life I am currently living in Austin, TX AND Denver, CO (and commute to NY/NJ for work) and I am loving it! I already have empty nest, so life is wide open for me and I am taking advantage of it. I have 3 incredible kids and I am not just biased, everyone says they are. Zac is 22 and stands 6'5"...he looks down at his mama with a smile. There is not one person who has met Zac that hasn't walked away saying he was the nicest, most well-mannered guy they have ever met. Music to a mama's ears! He attends Texas State. Sophie is my 20 year old daughter and just too cool. She is now at the University of Washington-Seattle and travels all of the time. "Give them wings" right? Quentin is my third born 18 year old with wanderlust and idealistic thoughts and reminds me of those words my mother gave that she hoped I would have one just like me...ahem...I did. y are and they are truly my heroes. I am a therapist, public speaker and author. Recently, I added flt. attendant to my list! It's a blast!! Really balances out the rest of my crazy adventurous life....with two in college I need ANOTHER job!! I gave up midwifery to spend more time with my kids and enjoy some travel time. And, I have a book coming out someday that I have been "pregnant" with for far too long. My hobbies are quilting, golfing badly, reading voraciously, learning french, vegan cooking, acting, running (ran 4 marathons), bellydancing, and packing up my VW bus then taking it on adventures. I have a rather extensive list of things to do before I die...lounge singing is next...I don't think I will be leaving this earth for awhile...just too much to do! I am no longer married to Mark Roach (Glendale H.S. class of '82). Austin and Denver are GREAT...so, come visit us and we'll show you around these cool towns.
