Here's one by one of my favorite professors, I don't know that I agree but I like going back and reading the email because well you'll see "You are one of the hardest working students I encountered while at the University of Oklahoma...you, do, however, lack a certain amount of self confidence! You absolutely deserve to have people stop and listen to you...and respect your input--it is tempered with a certain amount of wisdom and experience that so many people there lack. More about Dawn:"There's nothing special about me yet at the same time you bet your butt there is, if that makes sense at all. I have a great family and wonderful friends that make life worth living.
I am who I am. I am hard to get to know, but once you do it's worth it. I am a loyal and honest person who tries her best to look for the best in everyone. I only let a few people in but the ones I let in are the coolest people ever.
It's very hard for me to go on about myself b/c I have made my life about everyone else. My son, my brothers' kids (I'm not the typical aunt) and just my family in general. Let's see one thing...oh yeah I heard this quote in a Sugarland song the describes me quite well...I'm slow to trust but quick to fall in love. I push too hard and give too much. I may not be perfect but I promise I am worth it.
I love the ocean and the beach. My favorite animals are dolphins, horses and dogs.
I regret not knowing what I wanted in life sooner but being a late bloomer hasn't been horrible. With maturity I was able to enjoy my education and the knowlege of knowing just how important being your best is.
