Dawne's Story
After graduating from LHS, I attended Central Michigan University, where I received a Bachelors Degree from the School of Business. I also met my future husband, Bill Vowler, and we were married in 1990. Bill and I have two beautiful daughters, Faith(1993) and Rose(1996), and we live in a suburb of Detroit. I worked for William Beaumont Hospital in administration, for 14 years. Most of those years, I was fortunate to be able to work part time, and I enjoyed being a wife and mom the rest of the time. busy physicians office, with six physicians, who are affiliated with Beaumont Hospital. However, the pull of a large institution was great, and in 2008, I accepted a position with the University of Michigan Medical Center - Go Blue!! I remain a part-time employee, and my real passion is being a wife and mom. Bill is an Executive Vice President of a bank and a great husband and father. We enjoy entertaining friends, traveling, and spending time as a family. We make visits back to Lake Odessa to visit family and friends from time to time, but life here in the city suburbs is busy, and the visits aren't as frequent as they used to be.
