Dayna's Story
I was very active in softball throughout my younger years including playing varsity for Southwest Missouri State University. I was chosen as an All-Star in the 1st Women's College World Series(as a freshman). I spent several years working awhile then college awhile to complete my Bachelor of Science from Southwest Mo. State in Industrial Technology majoring in Design and Drafting. Most of my career was spent in public municipalities service area working for the City of Springfield Mo. and the Mo. Department of Transportation. I was also involved in the state's aggressive county reassessment mapping.
I never married but always enjoy the many nieces and nephews even tho they are growing up and going their separate ways. I have one special needs nephew who is an absolute joy.

id alot of backpacking and most recently did a backpacking trip w/2 of my nephews to Colorado, hiking the Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area (up by the Wyoming border). My other interest is bicycling. I biked in 3 MS150s in my younger years and once a year my sister and her best friend from grade school Nancy (Stodden) Bouckout plan an extended weekend bicycling trip. We have done several including the Frisco Highline Trail and portions of the Katy Trail, my favorite being thru wine country...haha. Someday I am going to take a more relaxing vacation, like a cruise!
I am currently retired from the state, however, in this economic downturn I am rather reserved w/my travels so I am content spending my time at Table Rock Lake on my pontoon boat reading a good book and having a cocktail.
