Dean's Story

After high school, I joined the Air Force and ended up stationed in Colorado. I worked in the electrical trade. After 4 years, I left the Air Force and came back to Delaware, joined the Air National Guard as a weekend warrior and went to DTCC. After a few years, I was hired into a full time Air Guard job and I've been there ever since. I ended up earning 2 Associate's Degrees (Mechanical and Electrical), a BAS in Criminal Justice from Wilmington College, and a Ma...Expand for more
ster's in HRM. I've traveled all around the world (Italy, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Curacao, Colombia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, England) because of my job. I love it. I really do. I dislike that some of my traveling is because of a war, but I know we're making a difference because I've seen it firsthand. I have been married since 2003 (just before shipping off to war) and have a 4 year old son. Other than that, I probably work too much, but I guess a lot of us do that.
