Dean's Story
Dean is from Saint Joseph, Missouri. Dean's schools include Independence High School (Independence, Kansas) , Turpin (Oklahoma) High School & Liberal High School (Liberal, Kansas). Dean later graduated from Washburn University where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi fraternity and received a Bachelor of Business Administration. Dean later attended St. Paul School of Theology (Course of Study). Dean retired from the United Methodist Church Mo Conference,
Dean served in the army with one tour in Vietnam as an infantry officer in the 1st Air Cavalry Division. Dean was platoon leader of an airmobile rifle platoon.
After college Dean worked as salesman and sales manager for a variety of companies in the graphic arts industry. As North American sales manager Dean's job took him to most major cities in the US, Mexico and Canada. His job also took him to the largest graphic arts trade show in the world held in Dusseldorph, Germany, as an exhibitor.

, that of a Methodist pastor. Dean served two churches in a two point charge for ten years before his retirement.
Since retireing Dean has become an aspiring writer. He published his first book, a collection of short stories that he has regaled his family with over the years. Dean is now working on his second book centered around letters his father send his mother from Europe during WWII.
Music Dean likes includes Southern Gospel. Books Dean likes include Bible. Movies Dean likes include Quigley Down Under. TV shows Dean likes include Ice Road Truckers on HISTORY, The Big Bang Theory, NCIS.
Some of Dean's favorite things to do is to go camping with his family, go to his grandchildren's soccer games and school events and visiting historical sites and museums.

Dean is married to Patty Owens-Eikenberry since 1970 whom he met in Topeka while attending Washburn University. Two daughters and four grandchildren.
