Dean's Story

I am currently retired in Sun City West Arizona. I left Huron in 1958 to join the Air Force. During the six years in the Air Force I spent two years in Japan and three years in Germany. In Germany I met and married my wife. Upon returning to the states we moved to St Paul, MN where we lived for three years. I worked for a company in Minneapolis and was transferred to Los Angeles in 1968. After 8-1/2 years there we were transferred to Seattle, WA. for seventeen years until I retired in 2003. I have two sons and a daughter, five grandsons and two granddaughters. The live in Arizona, Washington state and Nova Scotia, Canada. My wife of forty years passed away in 2004. I am currently in a relationship with a wonderful lady that I have known for over thirty years. We travel a lot and spend our summers in Washington state to beat the heat in Arizona. I have had a full life and I am very happy where I am at in my life. Life isn't always fair, but we need to make the best of the situation that we find ourselves in.
