12/08 - Well things with the adoption are not moving any faster. We had hoped that China would improve how many babies they make available to the international program, but it's proving to be the same ol' same ol'. So we are again looking into domestic adoption which means more paperwork and even higher chance of getting our hearts broken if the mother changes her mind at the last minute. At least with international, that factor is not an issue. I know that it will happen when it happens, but I'm not getting any younger. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!! 8/08-So glad that the Olympics are over and pray that China gets things going a little faster with the adoption process. We now know it may be closer to 3 or 4 years from now before we will be getting a call for China. We've waited this long! I'm still having a few issues from the DVTs I developed a year ago. The swelling and pain can be a little much at times, but oh so much better than 6 months ago - so keep taking one day at a time. I've heard from a few classmates & hope to hear from more.
