Deanna's Story
Life
DeAnna R. Bryant
What do I know about DeAnna Bryant? How can I put into words who DeAnna Bryant really is? How she has help people? In one word, DeAnna ReShun Drain Bryant is a SURVIVOR!! I have not yet met another person who has endured as much pain mentally, physically, and emotionally and still steadfastly believes that God still is and that He is still able to do all that He promises. How many Christians do you know will still have their faith, believing that all that they have endured is supposed to be used as a testimony to others? DeAnna has that desire, and it is her calling to share with others so that they may be encouraged, healed, and set free by Âthe words of her testimonyÂ. For these reasons, I call DeAnna Bryant a survivor. ThereÂs not another word that could describe her so well.
Why survivor? DeAnna has survived the terminal illness of cancer when most people find out they have, they just rather give up on life, a marriage no one thought would last, and family trials that should have taken her mind. I've known Deanna since 1998-99 and since that time she has proven that her faith in God is what drives her. Deanna and I shared a house with four some...Expand for more
times five other women and DeAnna had the ability to lead us into prayer groups, bible studies, testimony services, as well as encourage "practice runs" for the fruition of our visions of becoming evangelists. For as long as I've known Deanna she has been a faithful, intricate part of her local ministry. When we attended the same ministry, Deanna parlayed her strength of writing and encouragement into a newsletter ministry in our church that blossomed into a business Anointed Scribes. More recently out of her creativity came a new womenÂs group called The Heart Of A Woman. It has grown from three members chatting online to over twenty women from various backgrounds, marital statusÂ, locations and religious denominations all coming together by their belief in God and their testimonies. There again, DeAnna has used her past, and her creativity to develop new way of reaching out to people.
It has been my experience, since IÂve know DeAnna that individuals young and old, men and women alike have always been drawn to her for advice, a listening ear or words of encouragement. Through it all Deanna is still standing and thatÂs why I call her a survivor!
