April 2010 update:
This year we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary! They say time flies when you're having fun -- I guess we've had a LOT of fun because the years have really shot by! We have lived in several interesting places including Kansas City, Kalispell Montana, Houston Texas, Tempe Arizona, and for the last 20 years in the San Diego area. Still not through yet as we have property on a lake in East Texas that we are building on. Our four sons are scattered - Greg lives in Serbia and is a missionary/church planter; Rob, who lives in Salt Lake, is a missionary TO the Mormons; Mike graduated from West Point, Dallas Seminary and is now attending Kansas State in Wichita to get his engineering degree, graduating in Dec. ventions. He and his family reside close by us in Bonsall, near Oceanside CA. All are happily married and we have 9 grandkids -- 4 boys & 5 girls!
Bob & I enjoy traveling - mostly to see our sons and their families. Before we got married I was a medical assistant at a pediatritian's office but for the last 44 years I've been a 'stay at home mom' , keeping busy with home decorating, sewing, gardening, photography, oil painting, entertaining, playing with the computer (AND our grandkids!), and MOVING! I wouldn't have had it any other way! It's been a great life - God has been SO good! Psalm 37:4-5!!
