Deanna's Story
Oh my, it has been 6 years since I last visited this sight.
A few things have changed.
Life
Hi. I was pretty shy in high school but not so much any more. I have been married for 30 years, we have 3 children ages 30, 29, and 27. Two girls and a boy. We have been in Olympia, Wa for the past 22 years. We have been "active" parents, so our children say. Our oldest, Nichole, is our shyest. She is married, working full time, attending school, and has our first grand child. Danielle, our middle child has graduated from WWU, was 4 time All American in pole vaulting and now is 4th year Dental Student at UW. She will be returning from her 2nd Good- Will trip to Uganda (this trip she organized herself and is now starting a Non-Profit Organization to reach out to populations needing dental assistance.) ...Expand for more
Our youngest, Alfonso "The Fonz or AJ", is our commedian and full of energy. He graduated from high school in June and enlisted in the Marines. He arrived for his first day at boot camp just hours before the September 11th attack. He is now out of the Marines and a Heavy Machine Operator and Travel Lift Operator for large Boats. Al and I lived in Seattle for 6 years to reduce his work commute but he eventually quit his job to attend school full time to graduate with his Masters Degree. I worked for the Seattle School District for 4 years until I fell and ended up recovering for 3 years from the serious break. Even though my recovery was difficult, God blessed me so much thru this challenge. I do hope life is continuing to be as good to you as it has been to me. Would love to hear from you. Deanna
