Deanna's Story

- I am single Christian, live in Schaumburg and have a beautiful 18yr old daughter. I am employed in the accounting/administrative field. I have a job but i am looking for another place to work. I am looking for a permanent position in Schaumburg or nearby; if anyone has any leads I will welcome them. I worked at an insurance agency downtown for 7 years and was forced to resign in 2007 where I was a Claim Assistant and then an Underwriting Assistant. Boy did they give me a real good taste of Corporate American in the worst way. Would love to get together with other classmates and hear what everyone's been doing. I grew up around Augusta and Pulaski. I lived on Kedvale right on the corner of Augusta. I went to Our Lady of Angels for grammer school until 6th grade when I transfered to Brian Piccolo. I have no memories of graduation day at Piccolo other than a picture afterward with my grandparents - how strange. Then went to Prosser and went to Wright College for a while, didn't get any degree. 13 times in my life. I've lived every where from Lincoln Park, Rogers Park to Jefferson Park, to Portage Park and even Cragin area. Now I'm in Schaumburg. Guess I just didn't like Chicago!!! I'll never go back there to live not after living out here where its cleaner, more peaceful, more green and trees. I loved hanging out at Nicki's restaurant in H.S. does anyone know what happened to Nicki? I loved his french fries!!! Also Jimmy's Hot Dogs on Grand and Pulaski. Remember waiting for the bus in the restaurant and eating their greasy, cheap huge bag of fries that would leave a icky film of grease on the roof of your mouth.....why did i eat them? Hmmmm - I don't remember. How about officer Roman, my buddy. LOL. I think he's retired now. not sure if he is still alive. I may have come across his name on a plaque on the wall of retired officers in a Roselle Police Station. I was there for a traffic ticket..... honest.
