Life Then: Unfortunately my memories of HS are less than stellar - I always felt awkward and pretty much like I didn't fit in. I had a "weird" family (although I don't feel that way now) and my best friend Heather and I spent most of our Sr year not talking to one-another. The highlights of HS were: Art with Dave Christie and Greg Worthing, Poetry with Tom Brush & Yearbook with Chuck Wade. Also a "field trip" of sorts to a Poetry workshop camp up in Port Townsend. The other highlight was skipping school with Carol Coburn and bumming around Pike Place Market - (we made friends with a wino named Fred). I graduated and married my boyfriend. Lived life as a military wife for 4 years (3 years in Germany) and then we moved to the Maple Valley area. 8 years into our marriage we started a family - 3 kids and a mortgage payment later we got a divorce.
