Deb's Story
I've been married to Chuck Mulka for 30 years. We have three children, Hillary,22 , Taylor,20, and Jacob,15. We have played music forever in bands, churches, clubs around Detroit for years and just for fun. Chuck is a graduate of Madonna University in 1999. I am a student at Spring Arbor University studing Family Life Education. I am a Parent Talk facilitor and I have a girls group, we sing 60's music. My kids enjoy music, art, communication, working, skateboarding and family gatherings. We have a dog, Billy that we love so much. My mom is still living in Redford and doing well. I have a brother and sister that live out of state. My other brother and sister live in Flat Rock and Livonia. Chuck is a church music...Expand for more
director at the church of the Divine Savior. He played the guitar mass at St. Valentine for 33 years. Our kids all went to school there. The girls went to Mercy for high school. Jacob started out at Divine Child and now is attending Stevenson because of job loss. He seems to be adjusting well. Chuck's family is spread to California and in Livonia and Commerce. There are grandchildren on his side of the family. His mom and dad have passed on. His cousins and second cousins are everywhere as there are so many of them.
We have been happy to be able to enjoy life as it has been dealt to us. We continue moving forward watching our children grow and create the life they choose by making good choices and working hard.
