Debbie's Story
I've been living in Orange County, Califonia since 1986. I decided early in life that marriage and kids were not part of the plan--love kids, they love me, but it just wasn't meant to be--I believe the Good Lord has had other plans for me. I'm barely thinking about marriage these days...we'll see, I'm still not sure if I'm ready. I have enjoyed being single. I'm too old for kids now--I have godchildren, and a niece and nephew--good enough for me!
Life has been good to me. I worked full time in a couple of jobs after high school and then decided to try something new--I graduated from Paralegal School in 1994 and then decided after a while that it wasn't really what I wanted to do. I loved legal research and writing, but I just didn't get along with the attorney I was working for so changed my mind once again.

r a police department as a civilian employee. I have moved up the ranks a little and I now help sworn and non-sworn personnel do their jobs more efficiently. I provide training and lots of troubleshooting with the new technology that keeps coming our way. It's exhausting, but rewarding. For the first time in my life I can say that I truly love my job. It even takes me to Canada for conferences every other year. :) Prior to that I worked for a wholesale finance company that did flooring for Yamaha Motor Corp.--spent 14 years there promoting to a couple of different positions(accounting clerk to legal secretary/paralegal trainee to Account Manager). So glad I got out of it--good experience, but highly stressful job.
It would be nice to hear from old friends that I've lost touch with through the years, that's if anybody remembers me. I can't believe it will be 25 years!
