This will be my last month on here (June), you can reach me on face book Debbie Brooks Riffel... Hi! It is so nice to see so many HHS'ers on here! So the question is what have I been up to? In my life I have slept under the stars ,watched a meteor shower, been to Disneyland/world, held a praying mantis, talked with Oprah and Dr. Oz, ziplined, seen Gericault's "Raft of the Medusa" and De Gas "Ballerina" in person, had a pillow fight, built a snow fort, seen a total eclipse, watched a sunrise and sunset, hit a home run, been on a cruise, had enough money to be truly satisfied, bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant. walked on a beach by moonlight, went down in a submarine, swam with dolphins, had my hair cornrowed, modeled for Montgomery Ward, been a "Vanna White" at a company's Christmas party, kissed in the rain, played in the mud, heard Billy Collins read his poetry in person, started a business, flown in a helicopter, had my picture in the newspaper, been on KY3 news twice with my daughter, saw Adam Lambert perform, attended "finley river" concert, lost a loved one, had a baby, got older, hopefully wiser. But these are just things I did. Who am I? First and foremost I am a Christian, I love Jesus with all my heart and put all my trust in His mercy and grace.
