Debbie's Story
Hello,
Spring is my favorite time of year, I love the green grass and flowers the rain brings, and the soft ground, its so much better to ride in than dust!! Planning my camping trip with my horse and friends in a couple of weeks!!!
I live is Salinas with my wonderful family, they are my main priority, and my life.
I have been married for 30 years this past September, to my husband Tony, who without I would not survive, he is awesome, and I am so spoiled. We have two gorgeous grown daughters, Kelly and Julie (28 & 26). I was a stay at home mom until Julie started kindergarten.
I have an adorable grandson named Kash, he is 20 months old. I work full time for an insurance company in Monterey, and in my spare time I spend it with my family, friends and my quarter horse, King. I love living in the Monterey area. I belong to a trail riding club, we go camping with the horses, and day rides to the beach and mountains. I board King at a friends 40 acre ranch in Watsonville/Aromas area. It's great, my cell phone doesn't work out there!
My family is really close, we all go RV/boat camping frequently, e...Expand for more
very chance we get, we have a 27' Carribean Day Cruiser Boat. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors. Blues Festivals are a favorite of us all.
In the winter (when Im bored), I love to do crafts, I am addicted to beading and making jewelry for my girls and girlfriends. I also make fleece blankets, wine cork wreaths, warm cozy jamies. I love to go wine tasting, I am a pretty good cook and I love to bake, I also have made a few big wedding cakes.
My most favorite things ever:
Making my grandson laugh.
Out camping, watching the sun come up in the morning with a hot steaming cup of coffee....feeding my horse at first light, in the cool foggy mist of the morning, seeing his breath against the cool morning air...watching the sun set over the lake, seeing its last glimmers of light on the ripples of the water....sitting by a campfire at night, watching all the stars come out...
Spending time in Big Sur sitting in the river drinking margarita's, (they have chairs in the river) listening to a Jazz band or blues band....hiking at Point Lobos.....there is nothing better....Life is Good....
