Life
Have been living in San Francisco since the 70's apart from 6 years in Japan and 1 in VT for grad school. Currently taken a hiatus from international education consulting work to raise my two daughters, both of whom were adopted from China, and are still in elementary school. I do a lot of volunteer work at their school and some volunteering with an int'l education charity here in SF. My husband is Japanese so we spen...Expand for more
d a good part of each summer in the mountains in Japan. He travels a lot to Asia, but the girls and I make it to Kalamazoo once or twice a year. My folks still live in the same house, but will be moving to a retirement community soon. What little free time I have, I spend reading, dining out with friends, walking and biking near the beach, and planning all the wonderful trips to faraway places that I hope we can take soon!
