Life Hey guys! I am still living in VA...never had the heart to leave it, as I've always loved it here. I was widowed when I was 29, and chose to remain single to be able to raise my two kids the way I wanted to. I've been married for almost 10 yrs. now. I took a trip to Boston with my girlfriend and 2 weeks later met a guy from Rhode Island (his accent gave it away...)so, I married a Yankee;) I still love him to tell me to get in the caaaaaaaa (translation: caR). We each have two kids...I have a son and a daughter, he has two daughters. We are empty nesters, which is kind of nice. I am lucky enough to have my kids live within 40 min. of me...Kirk's girls live in Utah and Rhode Island. The thing that is most important to me is my family...I love them so much, and I am so proud of each of them. I worked for 30 yrs., was tired of the rat race and have been at home for 4 yrs. now. I worked for Colonial Services Board for 11 yrs. and then went into Administrative Assistant and Office Manangement work. I loved it-I commuted from Richmond for too long, and ended up leaving a job I LOVED...Expand for more
