Debbie's Story
In 1980 I began flying for Eastern Airlines and worked there for 11 years out of New York. Then the company folded and I got hired with United Airlines in 1991 again based in NY and have been with them since. All in all 36 years. Married in 1989 had 1 son Nicholas. Lived in N. Virginia till divorce in 1994 and moved to Oklahoma to be near family members. Raised son alone till I remarried in 2003 to a native Oklahoman and now have 3 grow kids. Since graduating from OU and he has worked on the TV show "Street Outlaws" as a production assistant. I'm a proud mom bragging on my son.
I'm still flying for United Airlines and just completed 25 years in June.
I fly mostly domestic, by choice because of my mom and her illness. Some months I step out and fly London, Paris, Zurich, Frankfurt and Rome. Italy is my favorite
I have been to every state except North and South Dakota and Alaska. Traveled S. America, Europe and Moscow. Don't care for that place.
We bought a beach house in Destin, Florida and go there as much as possible. Looking forward forward to seeing get everyone at the 40th reunion.
Hard to imagine 40 years already. Life is good.
