Debbie's Story
Hello from Atlanta, Georgia. Wish I could make it back for the Blue and Golden Anniversary of CNE. What a great school....lots of great memories, but maybe I'll get back for a football game this fall. My parents still live on Manila Road and I have nieces and nephews that attend CNE now, so maybe I can get back before too long.
After high school, I went to The University of Cincinnati and met my future husband, Scott Finney of Madeira. After we married, we lived in Milford until 1985 when his job relocated him to Atlanta. We have been here ever since. We have two sons, Cliff is 28 and works as a fraud examiner for the State of Georgia and Colin is 24 and currently working for the Department of Defense in Iraq. ried but no grandchildren yet. Colin and his wife raise Welsh Pembroke Corgies, so I tell everyone I have "grandpuppies."
Life is good in Atlanta, and sadly, we don't get back to Ohio as much as we'd like. Scott recently retired, but I still work in a small engineering consulting firm. We have a yellow lab mix named T-Bone who weighs 110 lbs and thinks he's a lap dog. For fun, we like to travel and camp. We have a 32ft. motorhome which doesn't get much use with the current price of gas. We've recently traveled to London and Paris and hope to get to Rome in the near future. Scott and I are both history buffs and love visiting all the old forts and lighthouses in the southeast. I would love to catch up with any old classmates!
