Debbie's Story
I am happily married after 25 years with a beautiful 21 year old daughter who has played the violin at Carnegie Hall 3 times and once at Lincoln Center once. I became a Registered nurse in 89 and became certified in Developmental Disabilites Nursing 11 years ago. Currently, I am a nursing director at The Center for Discovery where I have been working for over 21 years. When I am not working, which isn't that often, I enjoy spending time with my family and my four dogs; Bandit, Clyde, Newy and Skooter. I am a die hard NY Giants fan; for which my husband built a beautiful den and deck where we spend most of our time during football season. e a beatiful home with the best view in the county from my deck. My favorite get a away is the Bar Hrbor Inn in Maine; it is like heaven on earth. My husband I usually go each year for our anniversary. MY retirement plan is to have a gift shop in Bar Harbor in the spring, summer and early fall and then to travel in the RV in the cooler months. In the meantime I plan on continuing the work that I love and spend as much time with my daughter while she still enjoys spending time with me. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Nursing with the focus on informatics.
Shooting pool, playing poker, watching football and playing the WII are my way of blowing off steam and keeping my sanity.
