Debbie's Story
Life
Well, where do I start? Since graduating, I have taught first grade in Port Angeles and Castle Rock, second and sixth grades in Hockinson, and am now a technology director for Educational Service District 112 in Vancouver, Washington.
I have two sons. Josh is my oldest, and after graduating from the U of O, he is now a financial planner for Morgan and Stanley. Jacob, my youngest, works for Apple Computer, and aspires to be the next Steve Jobs!
I have high-tech, low-tech and no-tech interests! I think technology is cool, and love exploring new technologies that can help students learn and teachers get their jobs done. That's what I do in my job.
My hobbies include scrapbooking, stamping and gardening. And I enjoy spending time with friends and family as well, doing whatever the moment brings. In July of 2005, I finished my master's degree...I took all of my coursework online through the University of Phoenix. It's a great way to attend class, but still, it's a lot of work!
I'm trying to launch a new business online called Hope Bracelets, and am learning that launching a business is a lot of hard work. I have designed bracelets in each cancer awareness color, for the friends, family and loved ones of a cancer patient to wear. ...Expand for more
It's a significant symbol of the spirit of hope that each cancer patient needs, as do their families and loved ones.
It's been a long time since I've seen or heard from most of you, so I'm anxious to re-connect with you! I didn't make it to the reunion because I was in my master's program, but I'll be there for the next party! Count me in!
Look me up when you are in the Vancouver, Washington area. I'd love to hear from you.

College
I loved my college years! They were the best time of my life. I had some great times with the friends I made in college. I also enjoyed my apartment life during the last two years of college.
One of my fondest memories of college life is the time I spent over in the sports pavilion playing racquetball. What a great sport! I even won a game or two! I also looked forward to the weekends, when a group of us would head out to the state line to dance and kick up our heels! Those were the good ol' days!
I always wanted to be a secretary when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right..
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mike Williams, because I have a lot of fond memories of him, and haven't seen him in ages.
