Hi Long Lost Friends!
A little about my journey over the past 40 years.
After high school I attended Santa Rosa Jr. College and got my AA degree in 1971. Moved to Sacramento in 1974 and found a job with the Sacramento County Office of Education in June of '74. Working there I got a little feel for governmental accounting and decided to go back to school.
I attended Sacramento State University at night for what seemed liked many, many years and finally received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1981.
That same year I married Phil Holden (Ralph Holden's big brother). Phil was living in Southern California at the time (1977) finishing up with medical school. He moved to Sacramento to be...Expand for more
closer and to start his career. We got married in 1981 and live in Gold River - a suburb of Sacramento. Phil just retired in November of 2008 with almost 30 years with Kaiser as a Family Practice & Emergency Room Medicine physician.
We have two beautiful daughters. Heather is 25 and going to law school here in Sacramento. Melissa is 23 and lives by the beach in San Diego and is currently working for an Advertising/Public Relations firm.
I am still working for the Sacramento County Office of Education. Just hit my 35 year anniversary at work this month (June 2009). I now am in charge of Fiscal Oversight for the School Districts in Sacramento County.
