Life
I'm still married to my High School Sweetheart going on 31 years, Steve Pickens. We are still in Hueytown and believe it or not I work for the City of Hueytown. Ghee, do I ever leave town?? The answer, yes I do, but that is a long book within itself!!
Our son Michael Pickens just recently moved back to Hueytown and is now engaged to Miss Tammy Stephens. We are very excited : )
Our daughter, Kimberly Pickens, attends UAB and keeps us young.
I am very gratefull for everything and everyone that has passed through my life as it has made me who I am today - and hey - I think...Expand for more
that is a good thing. God has blessed me over and over and I know I have much more to experience with His leadership.
It's been a ride guys - hope to see many of you again and add to the never ending story!!!
Workplace
I now work in politics!!!! Those of you that really knew me in High School remember my "ability" to talk - well it has become a great asset here at Hueytown City Hall. I am the Mayor's Assistant and it is a hoot and here I thought I was at home retired. This is much more fun, now I can watch "OTHERS" make a donkey's butt of themselves - whooo hooooo :-)
