Debbie's Story
I got married one year out of high school. We had 3 beautiful children and were married 28 yrs. WERE being the key word here. Anyway, now I am remarried to a wonderful guy (Thank you, dear Lord) and we love to travel. I am off for the summer, so we take off every July. I never really left Rialto. My kids all grew up there and all 3 went to IKE. After all the "stuff", I moved to Redlands and then finally with my new hubby to Riverside. I still work (going on 16 yrs. now) for Rialto School District. There are still a few of us IKE alumni around. Now all my kids (aged 23...Expand for more
, 28 and soon to be 32) are married and have blessed us with 3 grandchildren between them. It's great being a "grammy!" I'm looking forward to retirement in about 2 years. My hubby has been retired going on 5 years. So, let the days begin when I can golf whenever I want. We go to a lot of musicals - we have season subscriptions to 4 venues. The love of music and singing with Mr. Hemstreet all those years has stuck with me. I direct the adult choir at my church in Rialto. Have now for over 22 years.
