Debbie's Story
Life
I love living in Oklahoma City with my wonderful husband, Dwight, and awesome 13 year old daughter, McKenzie. Yes, I'm an old mom but McKenzie keeps me young! I work in Global Mobility for Hewitt Associates and travel quite a bit. I have worked from a home office for 14 years and have been in Corporate Relocation since 1981. Prior to OKC, I lived in Tulsa, Dallas, and Houston.
In 2005, we sold our house and a lot of antiques and clutter, and bought a cool contemporary house built in 1974 (graduation year!). It has an amazing wooded backyard that backs to a creek, but we are right in the city.
My husband works for ONG, worked in Ecomomic Development and traveled with four Governors, and was on the Oklahoma Film Commision to promote the film industry here. He loves golf, OU football, and is commissioner of his fantasy football league. I still have my Dallas Cowboy season tickets from when I lived in Dallas in the early 90's. We enjoy traveling and going to movies. I love going to garage sales, collecting retro and interesting...Expand for more
things, hosting parties for McKenzie (3-4 per year!), and chauffeuring her to activities. I worked for GMAC for 12 years so drive an OU red Hummer H2!
We have 3 shelties and 3 pomeranians. We donated our exotic coatimundi to the zoo. McKenzie wanted to be a TV animal host, like Jeff Corwin, so she has raised almost 50 pets (you name it and we have probably raised it including snakes and a tarantula!). She is now interested in writing, photography, music, facebook, and boys! She is a great student, is 13 going on 16, and has been to 23 states (23 by age 3!) and 9 countries.
I decided to write a bio and add some photos and I hope you will do the same. I would love to get a note or read what others have been doing since High School. I attended a conference in Denver 10/07 and drove by Arapahoe HS, Euclid, Walt Whitman, and my old house in Bellevue Estates. I had not been back to Littleton since the 10 year reunion in 1984 so it was incredible to see the growth! I wish I had more time and hope to return again soon.
