Debbie's Story
I imagined that a would grow old gradually over the years not gracefully I was never graceful but gradually. As the heading says "life doesn't always turn out the way you expect". I had 5 childrenof my own and divorced and remarried a man with 2 children so we have 7, now we have over 14 grandchildren. In 2001 things happened, not just with the Towers but with me personally. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I have a phraze that I say a lot, "The more I find out about this disease the more I hate it." I am disabled, that was a shock too. hem to see me the way I have become. I have a very good husband who takes care of me. I have a muck i done cat named Whiskers, a dog born deaf, named Cookie and live in a small town in Nebraska. My husband works so hard to give me wantever I want, within reason, but he gives it to me. I now have a 2005 Dodge Grand Cherrokee, a 2 bedroom house and can buy whatever I have money for in my checking account. I am very fortuneate that I am loved by so many people but I wish things had been different when I was growing up. The saying that says if I knew then what I know now is very very very true
