Wow, after reading through some of my classmates stories, I guess my high school experience was pretty good. I don't remember any issues other than normal adolescent angst. My hope is that most of you who even remember me, have pleasant memories. I didn't excell at anything in high school, but I was involved in many different school clubs and stuff and most of those memories are happy ones. When I headed to college I moved to the Ozarks and never looked back. I met my husband while in college. He is from a small town North of Springfield MO. We have two adult sons, our oldest has Cystic Fibrosis, which is a genetic illness, he recieved a double lung transplant in February 2009. ( If you are not a donor I encourage anyone reading this to consider it.) Our youngest son is in South Korea teaching English in a private school. We miss him and wish he were closer to home, but our children have to follow thier dreams just as we did. He was always interested in seeing the world from the the time he was about 14. I am currently working for our Community College District in Springfield I have been here since it opened in 1991. Prior to that I worked for our public schools as an aide and sub. I am the Secretary to our Vice Chancellor of IT. I love my job. Although I never intended to be a secretary when I started out. I am just finishing a 3 year stint on the Missouri Community College Board of Director...Expand for more
