It was a real dream come true - I don't know about other kids that were adopted, but it is something that I always felt was missing, knowing who my mom was, what my family history was, and wondering if I looked like my mom. We're all pretty excited and get together as often as possible. My birth mother and I are actually traveling to Germany in September to meet the rest of my family there. My daughters and I met a few of them in March when we flew to Frankfurt for an international swim meet that they competed in. So, I'm healthy and happy and loving life.
