Debbie's Story
Well after reading a couple really nice former classmate stories, I became inspired to write a little about myself.
After GBHS, I worked at different positions trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I also attended Mott for a couple of semesters, before taking a job with a data processing company. Met a guy from Livonia and married him when I was 22. We were together for 10 years and married for 8, until he decided that he wanted something different, or should I say someone!! We have two children, Alex 22 and Krysten 20. My son, Alex attends Madonna University and my daughter Krysten attends Saginaw Valley State University. They are the best things that have ever happened to me. I am very proud of them, can you tell!!

years and am very happy, I have great guy in my life, even though we are not legally married we are committed to each other. Tried the married thing didn't work so well for me!!
After my divorce I decided I needed to get career of sorts so I got my certificate in Medical Assisting and became certified. I have been working in the medical field for the past 16 years, I worked for a private practice for 7 years and at U of M for the past 9 years. I currently work at U of M in the Cardiovascular Center Operating rooms. I have also returned to school planning to become a nurse in the next few years.
While attending GBHS I had one really close friend, but even we have lost touch.
30 years has passed and I am happy and have everything I need in my life and that is all that I can really ask for.
