Life
Hey, all you Cardinals and Cougars!
I attended Shepherdstown HS from 68-72 (Mr. Schoemmell, Miss Dressler and Mr. Strider rocked), and graduated JHS in 1973 and WVU with BA in English. I was going to be an Engish teacher, but student teaching killed that romantic idea for me, so now I'm a reporter/feature writer with a newspaper in WV. I've been married for 27 years this summer (!!) and have the two most wonderful daughters anyone could ask for ... Jenny, almost 25, and Laura, almost 22 .....Expand for more

Jenny gets her master's in political science from WVU in May, has a research assistantship this semester and will present a paper in Chicago in April. Laura gets her BS in industrial psychology from WVU in May, also. (As an English major, I always said I got a BA in BS.)
I love West Virginia and West Virginia University ... LET'S GOOOOO, MOUNTAINEERS!!!!! And no matter where I live, the Eastern Panhandle will always be home to me.
