Debbie's Story
Debbie is from Grand Island, Nebraska. She is widowed. Her schools include Grand Island High School. Barr Jr. High and C Ray Gates. I married Kenny Ewoldt Oct 13 1970. Kenny passed away unexpectedly on April 6th 2012. He was diagonosed with Stage 4 Cancer of his Kidneys on Jan 24, 2012 and only had a short time with him after his brain surgery. Together we have Scott 42, Timica 41 and Rusty 40. We have 14 grandkids and 2 great with one on the way. Kenny had just retired from Phoenix Post Office and I retired from GMAC in Phoenix in May 2009. . We purchased a second home in Grand Island NE in March 2011. ring the year. Kenny is truly missed and time and faith are making it easier.... not better but easier. There will forever be a void in my heart and I think of him always. I know he is in a better place but.......he was my life. Thank God for not making him suffer like my Dad did with his brain cancer for almost 3 years from 1967 to March 1970. Kenny was my rock when Mom passed in Oct 2009. All my first loves of my life are gone now and I need to go forward and stay strong for my kids. Kenny and I were high school Sweethearts so it has been a struggle learning to live with out him. I know someday we will be together again. (:
