HereÂs a quick bio:
After high School, I met Debbie Redding. We married and headed out to Utah for about 9 months before we realized it was just too dang cold out there! I came back to Oakhurst Ca. where I obtained a job with Raleys for a period of 7 years. While in Oakhurst we started our family; first came Doug Jr., then Nick. We bought a house in Indian Lakes, Coarsegold, CA and lived there about 7 years. Lisa was born in 1991. About that time, I decided to get out of the grocery business and go back to school. We sold our house in Indian Lakes and bought property behind Yosemite Lakes Park Coarsegold and later built another house there.
I attended Fresno City College, then Fresno State University while working in accounting offices for banks and CPA firms. After obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree I secured a position in Sacramento CA as an IT Auditor for the California State ControllerÂs Office. I pursued CPA experience and a Masters of Information Systems. I now work as a lead program...Expand for more
mer and project manager for one of my previous audit clients (Department of Child Support Services) where I am responsible for the design and development of the departmentÂs Fund Reconciliation System
We are now living in Rocklin CA just north of Sacramento. Doug Jr. is now serving a two-year mission for our church and is due to return home May 2008. He plans to continue his education at Brigham Young University.
Nick, my second son, is now married to Heather Kelley (believe it or not, that was her maiden nameÂno relation) and has a daughter that is now two years old.
Lisa is doing well. She has her own car (2001 Mazda Protégé), is taking some tough courses in high school this fall (Calculus her junior high school year) and is working part time.
We just climbed half dome together. ThatÂs a dangerous climb! I was so worried about my daughter who was ahead of me on the cables. You know how teenagers think you worry too much! Once at the top, the views were incredible.
Hope all of you are doing well.
