Life
Hi Everybody! After leaving Wilmington in 1974, I moved to Richmond, VA and completed my degree in nursing in 1976. I worked at St. Mary's Hospital until February, 1981 when I left to pursue a "normal" schedule working as an RN for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of VA. I met my soon-to-be husband, Mike at a co-ed softball tournament in Richmond in October, 1981 and we married in November after a whirlwind courtship of but 6 weeks! nd implementation. When our first son, Daniel was born in January, 1989, I was fortunate to be able to quit my job and become a full-time mom! Our second son, Paul was born in 1992 and I continued to enjoy being home with my family. I have not worked as an RN since before leaving BCBS but began substitute teaching (K-6) in my children's school(s)in 1998 and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Since our 20 year reunion, I've only heard from a handful of you and would love to be "filled in" about what everybody's doing before our next 'gathering'. I'll be looking for some Hi Notes!
