Debbie's Story
After Pali High, I went to Pierce College and Boulder, Co. I married Dick Clark and had 2 Daughters now50 and 47. I have 1 Grandson 23 years old. Taught school at Meadow Oaks in Calabassas. After divorcing in 1976, I moved to Hawaii in 1979 and have lived here ever since. Got my Contractors license in 1983 and did pretty well here. Bought a 54 acre ranch on the Big Island and visit it on week-ends. On Oahu, I have a B&B on 1 acre across the road from Pipeline Beach. Got my Captains license in 2001 after my Father came home from one of his "around the world" sails. Had a band here called Southbound from 1980 to 1991 and we played in Honolulu at various Hotels for Happy Hour and regular gigs from 9-1 after a hard day at work. I don't know how I did both, but...Expand for more
I survived and supported my Girls for years. I am now married to Pat Moore who is also a Contractor and Captain of his Fishing Charter Boat. We have been raising horses, chartering, and contracting for 18 years together. This may sound boring, but it's always pretty sunny here and laid back. No stress. Weekends find us at the motocross track riding trails, or horseback on the beach, or fishing. Lots of sun and surf. You probably remember me as always absent? Well, I was at Topanga or Malibu beach surfing and missing 1st period class. Here, I can surf any beach, any morning by walking across the street. If you are ever in Hawaii, call me and I'll buy you a drink! Or loan you a board or 2. In 2016 bought a house in Texas to visit family periodically. Aloha
