Debbie's Story
After High School I wasn't sure what to do. I worked at Target until I turned 21. After that I got a job working for Joseph Harp Correctional Center. Around 1996 I bought a house in Lexington, OK, where I reside now. I was a correctional officer for 20 years. I retired from Joseph Harp in 2002. In 2003 I had my first and only child, Ashlee.
What to do now? I decided to go to school. I went to City College for 7 1/2 months. I took their Business Accounting C...Expand for more
ourse. It took two years to actaully get a job in bookkeeping. I now work for a CPA in Norman, OK.
So, currently I live in Lexington,OK. We have a dog named Sadie and two cats named mama cat and butternut. I stay busy with work, church, the animals, and most important of all, my little blessing, Ashlee. She will be in Kindergarten this fall. She is a cheerleader for the Lexington Bulldogs. So our lives are pretty busy. (So much for retirement, ha, ha, ha.)
