Debbie's Story
At Whetstone I was pretty quiet so I didn't stand out in the crowd. But to my group of friends..well we were very close. It'll be interesting to see if you remember your nick names..."Rabbit", "Markle Sparkle","Martha Rae", then there was Lynn and Cheri. At some point most of us worked at RIX Roast Beef on Kenny Rd.
Now I'm married to my soul mate and best friend Charlie. Weird that it took a first marriage for us both to realize that I'd actually taken his order at RIX several times when he worked construction next to...Expand for more
the restuarant. Couldn't forget the mud those guys dragged in! We have five grown kids between us. We actually raised my daughter and our son. Our son now is the proud daddy of a 2 yr old little guy and our daughter has three girls ages 2, 5 & 7. Other than our giant white rescue dog "Chance" the little ones are the light of our lives.
Charlie is retired and I'm the director of two after school care sites. The job really keeps me busy but i love working with children so other than actually teaching I'm in my element.
