Debbie's Story
Life
I have been married to Mark for 39 years. He had a massive stroke in January 2006 and is totally disabled. He is currently in residential care at a wonderful home in Tustin where we visit him every weekend. We have 2 children, Amber 35 and Paul, 24. Amber works for Kids Docs, a Pediatric Urgent Care as their biller and gave us our first grandchild on March of 2002, Hannah Elizabeth and our 2nd, Lily Kathleen on June 2007. I never thought of myself as someone's grandma, but here I am and I love it.
Paul is in the U.S. Navy currently on a volunteer mission in Afghanistan until August 2009....Expand for more
He has 2 years of college and will be applying for Officer Candidate School when he returns in order to get his BS in Criminal Justice. Once he receives his degree he will continue on to get a Masters in law. He wants to be an FBI Agent.
I am the Manager of Clinical Support Services for a large medical group in Orange County in addition to going back to school. I am working on a degree in Health Care Administration.
My children & son-in-law's love and support as well as my grandaughters are what keep me going everyday. I'm not sure I would have survived the last few years without them.
