Debbie's Story
Life
I married Rob Cross 16 years ago. We've lived in several different cities in Michigan, lived in Arkansas for a couple of years and we now live in Mystic, Connecticut. (Have you ever seen the movie Mystic Pizza? It was based on a pizza joint here and was shot here also.) We've lived in Mystic since July of 2004. We love it here. It reminds us of Northern Michigan near the Great Lakes. The towns are all pretty small, it is very country, our town is on the ocean, we get a lot of tourists (especially during the summer and fall colors). Although we love it here, we will most likely move back to Battle Creek, Michigan at some point because I work for Kellogg's and there headquarters are in Battle Creek (which is nice because my sister Tish and her family live there too).

nager handling CVS and Rite-Aid (which brought us to Mystic). It is a great company to work for and I really enjoy what I am doing.
Rob and I have 6 children. No we are not crazy (okay, maybe a little bit). We have 2 birth children (girls) 13 and 11. We adopted a sibling group of 4 (twin boy and girl 7, girl 5 and boy 4) 2 years ago. My oldest daughters love to dance and play basketball. My youngest children are still figuring out what they like to do but have tried indoor soccer and dance. My kids are great and we are all doing very well.
College
My first year at college was at UM-Flint but I missed Rob Cross so much (he went to Central Michigan) that I decided to transfer to Central my sophomore year. YES...I was one of those crazy girls that follows her boyfriend BUT it all worked out in the end. I graduated from CMU in May of 1989 with a Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting.
