After graduating from PCW in 1970, I attended OSU for a semester where Mary Derry and I were roomates. We were there for 1 semester. Upon returning home, I married, and later had 2 girls. I went on to work for UPS for 4 years, left there to pursue a modeling career and local theatre productions. I spent 5 years commuting to Dallas, Texas where I was a showroom model for Showmax/Samax of New York. They were a copy house creating knock off fashions from the Dynasty tv show. I portrayed Matel's "Spanish Barbie" for the 50th Birthday Bash of Barbie held at Crossroads Mall. I also worked as a Fragrance & Fashion model for Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren, Givenchy, Channel, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, and was the "Giorgio Girl" of 1985-87. Locall shows included Fashions for: The Webb, Her Potpourri, Foley's Dillards, Penny's, Casual Corner as well as several Bridal Shows in the Oklahoma City area, one of which was hosted by Pat Shockey's TV Show and filmed in the Overholser Mansion back in the 85!! (Boy does that date me or what!!!!!) From there I went on to do special modeling production for the Junior League on the "Butch & Ben" tv show. Worked as a spokesmodel for Eskridge Cadallic/Olds where I introduced the first transverse mounted engine in the Cadallic during the OK State Fair of 1985 or 86 (am not sure of the year). Theatre productions: I had the opportunity of portraying the Maid in "The Philidelphia Story" directed by our own Nancy Perry West at the Jewel Box Theatre.
