Debby's Story
Lived on the road as a band vocalist for 30+ years...during that time I traveled all over the US, married a musician, traveled all over the US some more working with him. Lived on a cruise ship (the NCL Starward) in the Caribbean as an Entertainer. We went through the Bermuda Triangle every week, but we never saw a UFO! Used to sit out on the poop deck and look for them with the other musicians at night!
Got knocked out by Grave's Disease (look it up; I'm tired of explaining what it is!) about 14 years ago. That changed everything; I had to learn to relax and rest often and had 3 surgeries on my eyes.
Meanwhile, somehow, I kept doing studio work and working for a karoake company (putting the lyrics on the screen and making them change color so folks would know when to sing!)...now I'm the Production Coordinator for Concentrix Music and Sound Design here in Charlotte; we do motion pic...Expand for more
ture soundtracks and commercials and the like. You've probably heard/seen our work on TV and Radio and on the big screen, too!
Still do studio work (as you can see from the picture; those are headphones--not growths on my head), still work with a great band on the weekends. Own my own (peaceful!) home.
Oh, and I'm a vegetarian/vegan. I don't eat animals, I don't wear animals, and I don't use them as furniture. Killing animals is not a sport as far as I'm concerned, nor is it necessary for our survival anymore.
